Is Ignou Online Admission January 2024 Notifications Released?

The Indira Gandhi National Open University provide online admission two times in a year i.e in the month of January and July. Recently, the distance university released admission notification for the January 2024 cycle. Last year, the university has launched its much awaited web portal for IGNOU Online Admission which redirected to webpage url https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.

*****The last date for January 2024 Admission in Distance Mode extended till 31st January 2024 (except Certificate, Semester based, Merit based Programmes) for UG and PG Programmes.****

After activating online link for admission, candidates whose do job and don’t have enough time. No need to wait, they can fill admission form online for all offered programmes by paying the amount via Credit card, Debit card and Net-Banking. Below are direct link to apply for admission online. Last date of Ignou Online Admission January 2024?

  • Last date for fresh admissions For Certificate Programmes is : 31st January 2024
  • For all other Master, Bachelor, PG Diploma and Diploma Programmes is : 31st January 2024
  • In a particular admission cycle, facility for fee exemption available to SC/ST students can be claimed for one programme only. If an applicant submits more than one application claiming fee exemption, all the applications are liable to be rejected.

The last date of IGNOU online admission January 2024 for all programmes is mentioned at advertisement notification. The university can extend last date of online admission. But it’s not sure. We suggest students to visit the online admission link at regular interval to get the latest update of admission notification.

Be noted that after filling admission form, students can check their admission status online that their admission form is submitted or not by Enter Control Number.

How to apply for IGNOU Online Admission January 2024?

Steps 1: First of all, students need to open university official website at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.

Steps 2: Then students should register them on the above mentioned website to apply for admission of their choice course which they want to apply.

Step 3: After login, filling the application form online and applicant must have : Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB), Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB), Scanned Copy of Age Proof, Scanned Copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 400 KB), Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 400 KB), Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 400 KB), BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line(less than 400 KB) etc. They have to upload the scanned copy of all the required documents, photograph and signature to the admission portal to apply for admission. The specification about the size of the photograph and size can be checked in the registration steps before uploading it to the portal.

Step 4: The application form fees can be paid via Credit Card (Master/Visa), Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay), Net Banking and ATM Card(PNB) etc. After paying fees, save the reference id for future purpose.

Step 5: Once the learner upload all the required documents, he/she have to click on the next button to get the Form preview option. Preview you form details properly and submit if everything is correct.

Step 6: Save/Print your form for future reference.
